Charlie has literally never asked that. Get a grip.
That sayings been around forever, It’s just stupid
Friends? At work? No. I do not resort to making friends at work.
They got rid of the survey that asked that question a couple years ago- before Charlie. They do not ask that any more.
I did , but they got laid off and I left to work for another company. Super out of touch question...
@1hoi+18x9O7db, you mean they will replace people that go? I have not seen this, maybe you are in the group with all these options.
This place is WW3, it is a tough workplace, starting at management layer lacking ethical behavior.
I think it will be a long time before we see another team member (read: employee) survey. I think it is the last thing on this leadership's mind. They know we are unhappy. They don't care. A job to fix this broken company has be done. If people want to leave, others will take their place. Remember, we are all employees, not team members. If you don't like it, get a job across the street. Don't bash leadership for doing a job to meet their manager's (board of directors, shareholders, and other stakeholders) objectives. We all do the same. We do our job to get a good review. Charlie is just doing the same.
Do not befriend these people at WF. They will stab you in your face (not your back) at a moment's notice.
Hell No! Only a bunch of criminals here and don't want to stoop to their low levels.
When they go low , we go high!
OP, this question has nothing to do with the current CEO. If you're going to bellyache over insignificant things, at least make them real things. Good grief. Thousands of people have lost their job and you're worried about the wording of a Gallup survey as if it's a HUGE deal or something. Talk about out of touch.
Gallup, not Charlie. Plus they did away with that survey.
Gallup asks this
Many good people here
Nope, I don't have a best friend at work. I have coworkers and I try to be a contributing team mate. But, friendship, don't think so. Too much selfishness, gossip, and pettiness for that.
I have trusted partners here. Everyone else is just a warm body.
i had a horse named chuckles.
I have literally never heard Chuckles say that. It was in the team member survey back when they actually did those.
I’ve met a lot of great people at wells. Many are friends for life.
I thought I did but it got back to me that she was using personal information she got out of me to undermine me. Trust nobody.
This is a Gallup employee engagement survey question. We we asked that for years in the annual survey. Didn't arrive with Charlie.
I have lost so many great friends, employees, and teammates due to layoffs! No one is best friends here. Everyone trying their best to save their JOBS. They are not here to make best friend’s.
Friends?? In this place?!?
I did but was harassed at work (toxic workplace) and found another job; probably will just forget that time of my work life and move on
Here's a timeline of how I feel about that question.
2006 - I had lots of friends at work, we would often get together after work and it was great.
2008 - Many friends had moved on to other companies and we had great going away parties for them. Still had some good friends at work.
2010 - Most of my close friends were gone, but there were still people around that I liked.
2012 - People are alright, but we aren't close.
2015 - With the outsourcing, I don't connect with them.
2017 - Feeling pretty solo at work.
2020 - Zero connections with people at work and tired of going into conference calls with people acting like they are my friends. We have never me, we don't know each other and there's no need to act like we are friends.
Charlie is my best friend
I did but then they got laid off.
You think yelling in all caps makes a difference?
