I'm sure they'll have plenty of guys volunteering for the OT at the enola shop. No need to force anyone there.
They did at our location. Most of them won. Then they all got laid off.
Maybe those who complain should run in next election and make the difference. You seem to have all the answers.
Problem with the "emergency" thing is the company can declare any situation an emergency. Our brilliant union contract negotiators let that slide instead of putting specifics of what an emergency is in the contract. Thanks again for all the excellent "representation".
"You should bring your concerns to your Union rep, they will help you."
Apparently no one understands sarcasm.
Management will determine what constitutes an emergency on your part.
What contract is that from?
The contract states there must be a “bona fide emergency” to force overtime.
Poor management on the companies part is not an emergence on my part. We didn’t choose to cut manpower to the point that we can’t run.
HOWEVER, getting the union to enforce that is another story,
Been happening for a while at my location. Nothing new
You should bring your concerns to your Union rep, they will help you.
be glad you have a job
“We hired more people “ lies lies lies.
