I can honestly say that I’ve been an employee for 40 years for 6 different employers, but I have never been employed by another company that hates their employees as much as this one does. Only 25 years of long and faithful service though. When will it get better?
Yeah I heard the same thing, and I also read the article too!
Employees with high standards? Have you seen any of UP equipment? If you take a closer look and see how the company is run, then you'd would have your answer. The folks that are still there, just want to work. The people that were let go I'm sure would want to come back. How many of the people that were let go will/would come back? Their rating is not in any way due to "high standards". Their rating came from the decisions made at the top, and not bottom. Think about it
It's a bad company. More work for you, more money for them. Its really that simple.
Nobody knows what their expectations are. Totally mismanaged at HQ AND IN THE FIELD.
Everyone reacts instead of having a proactive team driven direction. Also it’s a historical we versus them union vs management mistrust.
Their motto Courage to Care less abounds. It’s not anyone’s fault but HQ’s that they were fat and sassy and ripe for severe corporate rightsizing. Tragedy is they had to bring an outsider in to implement their PSR 2020 vision. Then now promote an internal guy who excelled at raping mechanical and engineering utilizing Psr 2020 principals. Stay tuned his analytical , financial focus will drive Psr 2020 to new heights and financial Wall Street success or he become the fall guy!!!
If you’re actually employed for them, It shouldn’t be a surprise.
Probably because the suk the most. 2 years in a row. Time for another straight up truth article
