The managers including the the asm and sm use WeChat to gossip about the booksellers. You can’t say anything in confidence to these people without all the managers knowing about it

I'm sure most of those do-nothings are working from home now anyhow.
Store 2597, in Paramus, has a large 2nd floor that, in the early 2000’s used to be filled with computer/technology books & even software. When the need for such product dropped, a very large space opened up for book signings & for customers to read or study.
Maybe they’re moving to Paramus? Just speculation, of course, but they also have a large parking lot, and a cafe so the corporate types, who are used to getting the very best, will also have access to food for meetings & urns of coffee prepared by cafe staff.

The corporate HQ is moving into our store in a few months all the managers are terrified and they are constantly warning about their arrival what they don’t know is us booksellers are all thrilled about their arrival and can’t wait for them to came to our store lol.
We Listen was such a joke. I reported harassment from my ASM. The next week my hours were cut in half then the following week I had one 4 hour shift. I told him I knew why my hours were cut. I was told “ nobody likes a troublemaker “.
The stores are one big soap opera drama.
Can’t wait till they try that in the new job they get after BN closes. Boy are they in for a reality check.

I love to log on to this site and read all the dirt on management during my break. It makes my day!
Most of the managers have no life and enjoy trying to make everyone else miserable.
That's ok, we talk about our district, now regional manger, and store managers on the floor and in private groups all of the time. I can tell you about some great cat fights where the Store Manager wouldn't talk to her pet ASM for months.
