To the person that wrote the comment below. I agree. I heard rumors also that they may get rid of this location since the cost to operate it are above normal. Did you happen to view what was said on indeed about this location. If you type in indeed aetna woodland hills review in google search, there is a scathing review. I was suprised that whoever wrote it was not concerned about future prospects because whoever wrote it was very specific of the title of the position they did. The one thing I disagreed with was that they liked the health insurance. Every review I have ever read says they have great health insurance. Of course they have nothing to compare it to in relation to what other states or countries health care provides. They are probably getting the bare necessities and think it is great. It could be average to poor but they wouldn't even know it. This is another giveaway that the person was a permanent employee. Only a permanent would get health insurance. Whoever wrote it has no problem with the consequences of being so honest.
So it must have been a horrible experience.
I agree with the post about California. The Major Scams emanate from Woodland Hills. After all, the office would have closed years ago if not for the number of scams designed and implemented there. You can’t have surgery because you didn’t do exactly 6 weeks of physical therapy. Well they did 5.5 weeks and the last week the PT office was closed because of a Pandemic. Not good enough says Chief California Scam Designer. The members paid insurance is subject to “Cost Containment”. However, the Scam designer, who lives in a $9.5 Million Waterfront Newport Beach house, gets stock options and has an Unlimited chance to Profit. Your loss is his Gain. These are some of the Worst people You will Ever Meet. You were warned. Stay Away.
I was laid off before about 4 years ago got a 4 week warning and continued to work for 4 weeks , then a 3 month severance package including health insurance, and one week for every year of service 5 yes ago
Just to add to what I commented below, you have been forewarned.
I found another place that has an account administator position where I'm treated respectfully by the other workers.
Just a warning to all out there, if you are laid off and decide to reapply, avoid the woodland hills california aetna facility at all costs. I was a female account administrator there for a long time.
The worst place I have ever been to. There are constant complaints.
A lot of the workers there will not help you. They are extremely rude. Also angry all the time.
They do not want to try anything new.
Avoid this place and do to apply there.
I also think they will close this particular branch facility.
I don't see why they would keep it open when they have to pay an additional cost for parking.
It is also a lot of empty space in there during the week.
A lot of the employees work from home part of the week. So again, why pay for the lease and parking when they could do the work remotely anyway.
Is there even a severance?
