Land kick backs

What happened to the investigation of the kick backs paid to members of Land from Purple Land Management, Holland Land, Percheron, Western Land Services, TS Dudley, Honor Resources, etc.?

There have been beaucoup payments from brokers to members of land since 1998.
Are you one of those about to be arrested?

Dew Bre may have been an id–t but I can assure you that there were no kickbacks from contract land brokers after the debacle of 1998 when a broker out of Oklahoma was giving cars, wedding receptions and other under the table kickbacks to exploration staff of SWN....I know this for a fact as I was there

I hate to hear of anybody getting laid off, especially from a company with a worthless CEO who makes millions. But land has always been clear cut and hands down the biggest boondoggle profession at SWN, so it is really baffling how they have not been nearly as affected by layoffs as the other professions.

Landowner: I have a small chip in my 30 year old junker car that does not run, but SWN is the reason for the chip.

Land Dept: Mr. Landowner here's $15,000 to get your chip fixed in the car that sitting in your junk pile.

You want to know what the Land Dept offers up for other things? Just say cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching...$50,000; $100,000, the amount is endless.

I have it on “great authority” land will be seeing quite a few layoffs now that we are and will only be in PA and WV. We are truly a nothing burger in the E&P world. Merry Irrelevance all!

Personally, I think Land folks should be considered for layoffs first. They haven’t done anything of significance in years around here. Not the lifeblood of the company, but the major deadweight! Blubber factory!

Any good fraudster will tell you they “audit more than anyone else”. Why do you think Dew Bree left SWN? The lies are finally coming home to roost!

There were never any kickbacks while Dewbre was here. He audited every broker each year specifically for improper payments and kickbacks. The Brokers knew it and never even tried during his time.

The IRS investigation that started in Appalachia is what is going to end up putting people in jail.

How is this evenly related to workforce reductions. I don’t care if they did this or not. Do what is needed to save our jobs. We are going to have layoffs in mid-January 2021. Save this post. Put it on your screensaver. Never forget (Kinda like 9/11)!!

All of these perpetrators were eventually promoted, and deservedly so, under BJW fast track program called “Head, Hearts, Guts, and Tards” or something like that. It is, of course, LAND that is the heart of the organization and what makes oil and gas “tick”, if you will. These guys deserve the kick backs and stuff.
