Perhaps Windstream rank and file Employees should plead to the Federal Government for Stimulus money considering we are an essential industry and most Windstream employees wages have NOT kept even with inflation.
Doing so also shines some light on where all the raises and money is going with the blessing of the Bankruptcy court and our new owners. Couldn't hurt and should embarrass Windstream leadership and Elliott management. to HR......I don't need anymore freaking social engineering, I need my income to just keep even with inflation. I am not asking for the millions in bonuses that the Executives grab for themselves, we all know their greed is endless - I JUST WANT TO KEEP EVEN WITH INFLATION !!!!!

they are even paying their electric bills anymore..several POP sites have gone dark or were slotted to go dark and got caught at the last minute over the last couple weeks
frontier is going to lose their CAF funding because of their bankruptcy. This is under congressional review, I'm sure we are not far behind. Fraud is rampant right now and their is no accountability.
Elliot also owns the controlling share of frontier. The long term plan is to combine the failing wireline businesses (LEC) and have the services businesses spin off for $$$. They were also rated as the 4th worst company to work for because of sites like this along with glassdoor reviews.
But for all the millions flying around, this company gets less profitable by the month. This crippled company will eventually get put together with other crippled telco companies and be government owned, divided up and sold for any useful revenue, or just taken out to pasture and shot. Elliott will collect what’s due them at some point, they never lose.
GD! Just how much more government money does Windstream need??? They got something like $181 million in stimulus money under Obama and still get regular payments from the USF. Besides that, they just stiffed their creditors and stockholders. Can't they do anything without handouts and screwing people over?
I do not believe Elliott wants to run a Telecom firm long term. I also do not believe anyone would buy a technology based company that has such low morale and dwindling number of STEM degreed workers. The only part of the house that needs to be cleaned is management, rank and fike are well past manageable workloads.
Our income as a business has dropped drastically. Elliot looks at industry standards like ARPU(Average Revenue Per User) every year we are LESS competitive and don't really see any savings from the synergies of all of these. I agree we could all use a raise to keep up with my peers outside of the company. The consultants worked with the courts based on previous cases to pay out $$$ to the top 151 employees. It's not moral or ethical, they executives are just looking out for themselves not you.
This has to do more with corporate greed and less with stimulus. I would expect Elliot to do some house cleaning soon. As we wrap up 2020 they are looking to turn a profit going forward.
