AT&T cannot compete in the TV market. There are three cable providers in my area (not included price, hulu, blah blah), AT&T has by far the worst and most expensive offering. Also, T want's a two-year contract for AT&T TV. That's 1 year at a virtually equal price to the cable competition, 1 year at double the price of the competition, locked in. The other two offer great prices with NO contract.

How can AT&T be so far away from the competition and expect to survive?

AT&T TV (Uverse) is an unmitigated disaster.

Investors are waking up to the reality we employees have known since Randall the Rat took over this company. This company is a greedy, unethical, mismanaged disaster. The best thing that could happen for this country's economy is for AT&T to crash and burn and make way for better run companies.
