When I hired in,, Ford was in the top five companies to work for in the United States. I have spoken to people who told me if the job market was better the take rate would have been higher. Lets face it benefits are what keep people here for now.
Many would jump ship but to where?
That's what happens when employees are not hired/converted to fulltime/direct on performance basis but on discriminatory policies.
It is so common at Ford that supervisors don't know one technical thing about what their employees do. All they ask is, "Is everything good?, Do you need help? Submit your time sheet".
Brake guy is supervisor in electrical, electrical guy is supervisor in emissions..
I couldn't agree more. I met Farley when he first came to Ford and wasn't that impressed then. If he has any great ideas, why have they not already been put in place, since he's been an executive for years.
They have lost their focus on Product
Ostrich management with their heads buried in the sand. Rough water a heads for the F-150 and Bronco launches. They are running out of suppliers to blame. Next?
I don't think I've EVER agree more with something written about Ford.
