A few days after the layoffs and we already can’t properly service our customers. All types of calls are being routed to work units that have no training or access to how to handle. MOI , VA, shop supplement calls going to total loss, theft and DV adjusters that have no ability to address the call. Nice job by the boys up top!

Everything you said was spot on except express does not have the capability of ordering the police report that’s why the don’t do it not because they don’t want to . And that applies to a lot of the complaints about express we can’t do things because Allstate doesn’t want us to . There’s a lot of finger pointing going on between adjusters and express and different departments when really it’s the people up top
Weeks you say? I’ve had claims where a car sat for a MONTH before it got to me, several times. Then we are supposed to negotiate the storage bill.
Shops and customers can’t get through on VA. Cars in tow yards a week before they’re moved and shops charging lots of money to release them . Rentals spiraling out of control because VA adjusters finally get to the supplements a week later
To those on the front lines, I'm sorry for you. For top brass, LOL. You are doomed. Stock holders, most of you would be shocked at the ineptitude of some of the employees that were kept on. Before my last day, an ldu adjuster that had been kept on, working since January of this year told me they did NOT KNOW HOW TO ORDER A POLICE REPORT. That is the first thing I looked at in a claim, was a report filed, is there a reporting agency and report number listed? Yes? Order it. The Express team enters that information, why not just order it then and there if you have the info? Instead, the express dept holds the claim 2-3 days, then it goes to an adjuster. Sometimes, express has the claim for a week or so because not all the info is known. AS is the at fault driver, claimant vehicle has been sitting in a tow lot for 7-8 days and is a total loss, new adjuster selects VA as method of inspection because "erl decides the best moi" but they never called the tow lot to confirm the number was correct.... VA adjuster reaches out 5-6 days later due to being overworked, the number is incorrect. Adjuster gets a file review note, and MAYBE they google the tow lot and find the right # only to ask the tow lot owner if they will do va or send pics, NOPE. Now you have like a $2k storage bill. Say that scenario plays out 5 x a year with one adjuster, $10k lost. Transformative growth, way to go.
