For those who have elected to resign on their own: are you getting exit interview/surveys? Do you know if you’re being considered a “regretted separation”? How did your manager react when you broke the news?

I’ve seen some exit interviews many years ago and none of it was surprising. No recognition/promotion for technical people, supervisors exclusively managing up for their own careers, managers are oblivious, etc. The only surprise I’d say is how little it has changed.
: @xur+18kTrvXo I would not be surprised if exit interviews later go to file 13. Who would want real documentation of this mess.
I never did get an exit interview, and it doesn't bother me one bit. I look at Ford and I look at Exxon, and that friends is where the sick is really heading...
Had an exit interview when I left. Beneath the questions the true intent was always what it is from XOM. . . Minimize risk.
HR works for the company and is trying to insure against future lawsuits. That's it. . . Nothing will change based on exit interviews.
I resigned a year ago. Got exit interview from HR (over the phone of course) questions were quite detailed, HR rep was agreeing with everything I was saying about toxic culture and ranking system! However, the process is really a waste of time in my view. It's just another tick in the box exercise...I'm sure they don't actually do anything with the info. My supervisor at the time was only in the job for 1 week when I handed in my notice so actually felt a bit bad about that. I wish the previous bozo had still been in place as he was a useless id–t and part of the reason I resigned.
Yes to exit interview with HR. Typical questions about why and what could have been done differently. Regretted departures stat is kind of meaningless in this current fire fighting phase. It’s intended to flag when business changes need to be made to improve retention.
The same managers who have said the sustained high levels of attrition were below historical levels will spin this as a one time event that helps weed out those who weren’t aligned to the vision.
Frankly, tears of joy at least their job is gets more secure with each leaving member..
