Has anyone seen the recent reviews for Allstate on Glassdoor? Seems opposite what can be read here. Any thoughts on the source of those reviews?

At Esurance roughly 3 years ago our HR begged managers to go to Glassdoor and write positive reviews because they were concerned about the negative press Esurance was getting. Maybe that was a suggestion that originated in Allstate HR...
Don’t forget that I believe Glassdoor isn’t as anonymous as it is here. In order for one to leave a review I believe they have to leave an email and I am not sure if that is available to the company 🤷🏻♀️ I also believe that they do have “generic” or “fake” Glassdoor reviews as Glassdoor is a job posting site as well as a resource for people preparing for job interviews with companies.
Dont trust Glassdoor. A lot of companies (in different industries too) if u look at this site are facing similar issues as Allstate but looking at Glassdoor, it looks like a dream. If u see a 2- 3 sentence review on Glassdoor giving max stars, with a generic write-up...its fake.
Apples and oranges I don’t agree. There has been a ton of people in the marketing organization when have recently left willingly and those not effected byTG looking for opportunities out side of the company. Seems to me there are a lot of unhappy people. They just don’t find themselves on these boards since they were not RIFFed.
Apples and oranges... I would not expect that the majority of posters would leave positive remarks on this site. I certainly wouldn’t expect to see the following... “I just got laid off - what a great company to work for!” ;)
