Thread regarding TechnipFMC plc layoffs

Do they want to save the company or destroy it?

The only thing they care about is maximizing their bonuses and keeping the shareholders happy so that they can stay in their position of power. It is pretty obvious that they are setting up the company to be broken up into pieces and then sold. First the split will happen in 2021. Then they will sell measurement, and then subsea.

Posted on @kzyt+17YknT5g. To me, such business tactics (negligence for workers as they increase their bonuses in general) are not clear, that is, I think it is not sustainable in the long run. It only makes sense if they want to destroy the company completely. Please do not tell me this is the ultimate goal?

I believe the biggest LOOSER here is President DOUG.

FMC was a great company under John Gremp.
Technip was a great company in it's own right.

But, when DOUG only cares about SubSea and forgets all of the other parts of the company then you get what we have now.

I knew when the POS French bought the company it was doomed. And Ray Charles could see right away the objective was to drain it dry and unass it as quickly as possible.

Measurement was set to be sold to Honeywell earlier this year and then covid f'd that up. It would have been the best thing to happen to Measurement. Current leadership is only worried about restricturing the business for iProduction and could care less about the 100 year old brand that is Measurement.
