I am leaving the end of the year I will get STI in March. Do not wait in them to tell you. Tell them and advise you will be checking back in March. Don't rely on HR Shared Services to help you. They won't. They're a 3 rd party and couldn't care less.
I'D check with HR on retirement STI mid-year. I suspect you might have to work more than half the year?
if you retire mid-year you get prorated sti. if you are rifed you get prorated sti. if you quit before the payout you get $0
I would check with others regarding STI payment if you resign prior to STI payout. One of the HR people said a couple of years ago that employees did not need to wait until STI was paid out in order to be eligible. One colleague that retired mid-year a few years ago received pro-rata STI payout the following year (I believe you have to work a minimum number of calendar days before your are eligible for STI, not sure what that min is).
those webinars are a great opportunity to log in and take an extra hour to watch your favorite tv show or to take a nice long walk............
execs employing a few black or lgbtq+ {dont forget the +} people to tell everyone else how racist they are. execs make a shocking profession that they are "privileged", then they go about their business as usual. do you think any execs get replaced by people of color, no don't be silly.
white privilege only apply to white people on the lower end of the pay scale. execs already professed their regret with being white so they are exempt. classic AIG hypocrisy.
i just signed up for the next webinar because there is new episode of mandolorian!
last post, very funny and very true
But at least we get to listen to woke BS from leadership about diversity and inclusion that's nothing but a smokescreen for all the more layoffs of FTEs and outsourcing and offshoring roles. Glad AIG is using color of skin to drive culture. If you're a white male and not in leadership, forget about a career path unless you profess your self loathing at one of these id–tic webinars.
Most people resign the day the money hits their account or the next pay period. Should see a lot of that this year.
Sorry to be the grammar police.... "ensure" not insure
You have to be employed by the company on the date STI pays out, otherwise you forfeit it
Unless you’re ELT, once you resign you no longer exist to AIG, that’s for all companies.
Agreed you'll receive nothing.
You will get 0
