Every [blank] is [something negative]. If you find yourself making statements like this recognize you are being intellectually lazy. There are few things in life that fall statements including always and never can be made about. Taxes and death being the exceptions.

We have to stop thinking in extremes. The world isn't black and white, "good" people do bad things sometimes and "bad" people do good things.

Everyone complaining about how everyone who wasn’t laid off is scum should remember they hadn’t voluntarily quit / left the company. I don’t think everyone who still has a job s—s and is a brown noser. I also don’t think every firing got it right. In some cases the guy sitting next to you should have been fired not you. This is how life goes. Just look at your own life. I have yet to find I can walk on water.
