Thread regarding Pembina Pipeline Corp layoffs

My thoughts are with the Dilger family

In these challenging times, it must be devastating for Mick and the family to have to celebrate Christmas at the Calgary mansion on river vs. flying first class to the mansion in Hawaii. Someone needs to think of our CEO in all of this pandemic craziness.

Mick isn't reading any of these posts. He's chartered the company jet to Hawaii. The sycophants who surround him aren't sharing anything with him. It's funny how so many low level employees at Pembina would gush about meeting Mick or others on the C-suite. These guys (yes guys, no women allowed) would throw you and anyone else under the bus to maintain their standing in a second. Psychopaths. The most danger within, in my opinion, are the middle managers and senior managers who mimic this behavior and believe it is acceptable. Trash company.

I hope Mick will look at this forum and ask himself why people are not happy.

  • Senior Management needs to be changed that is for sure.
  • Hiring practices must be changed - hire by skills not by who you know
  • If the person is staying late it is not the indication that his/her work is productive. In fact it is not.

Mick, please listen to your employees and replace upper management as much as you can. Too many managers and supervisors for the company. Maybe, each of the managers and supervisors know each other’s dirty secrets and it is why they cover their backs and all the upper management can not be touched by the CEO. What a disappointment!

The real victims of this are his adult children. Dad isn't flying them and their partners to Hawaii this year for free. Hopefully Dad upgrades their VW SUVs to Porsches. True Story.
