Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

George Graw and Mary Jo Quinn retiring

Am i the only one who thinks that's crazy, and has peculiar timing?

I'd be more concerned about the "market conduct" inquiries from the DOIs than suits from employees and agents

Would you want to be a lawyer at Allstate right now? Good luck defending the coming onslaught of class-action lawsuits from employees and agents.

Both of them are highly respected, great time to retire

Also don’t know who these individuals are. But for those that had job elimination or were not selected to stay with the company through the BS testing, if eligible you can opt to “retire” vs. saying you were laid off. Nothing changes still receive the severance plus you can select an amazing parting gift of your choice.

It’s odd to me too. Feels like they were laid off.
