Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Anyone from UOG?

Still waiting on my meeting invite...no one on my team has heard either.

I’m in Houston supporting UNCON and it was a big hit.

Depends on which group you are in. Some groups were hit very hard. Others seem to be unaffected. I can’t figure out how targets were set. Seems some managers did what was asked and will be making sacrifices to get more work done with fewer people while other managers want to keep leaving early to pick their kids up after working a half day. I’m pretty upset consistently in approach wasn’t enforced. I think we are owed an explanation of why some groups weren’t impacted. Tough pill to swallow when unimpacted teams are already arriving after in the morning and leaving the office before me and my colleagues every day.

Midland was hit hard. Some entire groups were wiped out and roles are moving to India.
