Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

When people return to the offices ....

Haa! Just wait for the day to come when people have to go into the office and see the carnage this company has left behind. The office will never be the same and morale will be the lowest ever. Of course you will also still have to pay for parking and you won’t see raises ever! Just the place I don’t want to work at! Onward and don’t look back!

You took the words right out of my mouth, @keo+18cPTCBx. It is still not so clear what has been done, but returning to the office will make it clear the scale of the disaster that has occurred in the meantime.

It sure would be nice if some managers grew some balls and defended their employees instead of playing favorites and kissing managements a– in order to make themselves look valuable! I mean if your manager doesn’t look after you and your job who will? Surely not the worthless Directors and the executive teams! Managers get pushed to give deliberate lows scores for one thing and one thing only. Money! Stay classy Centurystink! Oh I meant Lemon!

who pays for parking at work? Most people in the UK, but I paid $75 per day in rail fares on the days I was forced to go into the office, until March, now I pay nothing and never will because I'm never going back to the office EVER :o-)) wish I was back in GA as I only paid $ / day in parking and about $10 a day in gas

That’s all they do is learn how to save money for their pockets! It’s so perfectly obvious and intentional! Who cares what that guy wants as he no longer owns me! Priceless! Sorry, I follow leaders and he certainly isn’t one of them!

I think they will never return many of the workers to the offices, using the opportunity to sell owned buildings or leave at end of leases. Storey said they have learned things that can be used to reduce expense long term, including, which probably meant eliminating most tech customer prem work too.

I paid for 10 years cause there was no parking at the office. Barely enough room for company vehicles.
