That is all it is in a nut shell. Someone should look at the share movements of these two for at least 6 months prior to the announcement. You know they discussed it all at home over dinner.

what better way to make money than create it yourself?!? scooter and son will be the main benefactors of this deal. plus its a boast to dads ego taking control of joes remaining assets that were never part of PXD. not sure why the PXD board is on-board.

I remember us at PXD selling parsley some c-ap acreage in the north part of howard county about 3-6 months before their IPO. This was before the investment community knew it wasn't all created equal. Man they sure valued that c-ap acreage pretty high. The "haves" and the "have nots". It's all been in the making for quite some time. I bet Dove was run off because he didn't want to do this deal...maybe had a little bit of a moral backbone. Who knows...well someone knows...but oh well. Nothing can stop it now.
