In my more than 20 years long career, the last three years that I've spent with SLB have by far felt the longest. This place has managed to turn a regular workday into torture that I can't wait to end every single day. I really hope that I'll be able to move on before my fourth anniversary, because this is no way live.

just sit and wait - everyone I know has been in the wrong place wrong time ....or met a young incompetent overly motivated over-promoted person who wants to show they are tough and needs names to be fired. You can tell who they are in the organization very easily slimy .... make a fumbling presentation to them and pack you stuff you will be gone in a week regardless of your 20+ years of working and A ratings
Trapped here too for now... Hoping to get fired or find a new job... This company is definitely successful in allowing good performers to go, keeping the lousy ones and driving good ones to become lousy too... I need the paycheck and the job for now, but I don't want to be here and the incompetent managers above me don't do anything about it because they don't want their incompetence exposed.
Lol are you talking about the crash of 1986? I was only 1 yr old. Forgive my ignorance
