Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Claims is horrible

Claims is horrible, switching the role of everyone in our MCO to all being Claim Owners and handling the entire claim and all coverages, while also doubling the number of claims we get each day. This was all done with a week's notice and NO TRAINING. We are all handling coverages that we either hadn't worked on for multiple years or never worked on period.

People are working tons of hours just to keep up and I am now being threatened of being let go because my pending is behind my coworkers. Each day we are reminded time and time again that most important thing we are evaluated on is our CLF score. Currently I am at 100% and have received multiple compliments from customers, but now they are threatening me on my pending level.

They also track and evaluate us on how much we use QFC and the VA Tool for settling claims and both are ridden with problems and never work for customers.

At this point I am starting to believe being laid off would be better than staying at this hell hole that doesn't care about their employees or customers, they only care about their stock price going up a couple points.

All this happening during the pandemic only amplifies how much they don't care.

But I thought the assessment tests were supposed to identify which employees could or couldn’t transform?

How can this be?

By summertime they’ll surely see the mistakes they’re making . Auto claims is just awful In terms of the work environment . Getting up to 8 inspections From all over the country every day and working 60 hours a week including weekends to keep
Up is insane . Shops charging to write an estimate and demanding an adjuster go in person because they’re tired of doing our jobs is the norm now.

Being an Allstate property adjuster is literally the most overwhelming job I have ever had. If you’re thinking of coming to property think again!

Yeah I am already fed up and so are my teammates. Top tier employees are talking about how stressed they are, can't sleep, can't eat, some have even thrown up from the stress. When your employees are miserable and overworked, it will impact the customers satisfaction and they are all p-ss-d.

The only incentive is the fear of not getting fired, which is a terrible existance. I plan on going thr Office Space route and just stop caring about my work cause right now I don't care.

But, but...this is Transformative Growth! We in claims must embrace our transformation!

And "experts" like Tom Wilson told us claims are way down because of the pandemic. Surely we can all keep up with this decline.

And what better way than to continue a reduction in force without having to pay severance than to get rid of all those slackers that just can't hack it in the new Allstate?

You must conform and work like whipped mules so that Tom and the boys can get those new yachts in 2021.

Do you all need more Continuous Improvement so we can get you all on board or shall we just start the UNs now?

Surely you all see my sarcasm....
