I heard restructuring is possibly taking place on the GSCO SalesHelp team. Any insights as to whether this means layoffs or not?

I doubt it. Until there are fewer screw ups on orders because Sales reps are unfamiliar with CPQ, operation types, and provisioning, I don’t see it. I can’t imagine sales reps handling some more complex/serious cases.
That’s partially true but then the OCAM refer sales to “SalesHelp” for many transactions. Until CPQ is fully functioning without needing workarounds for anything non-standard, SalesHelp seems to be essential for change implementation. I guess you never know.
Sales help is really a non essential part of the org. Most sales reps get the help they need from their teammates, on-the-fly when they need it. In this context “restructuring” can be viewed as very bad news.
