Somebody noted that layoffs have already started yesterday, is this true? If it is, what is being hit? How come we haven't heard more about it?

So, you didn't go into O&G but you're posting here. I'm really curious to know what field you did go into that would bring you here.
I grew up with my father b–ching and moaning about the oil crisis throughout the 70’s and80’s. So guess what? I did not go to work in that field.
