Intel thought they were supreme and that the layed-off employees will not be allowed to return though they had one stock-level 4.
Now the table has turned and there is a brain drain at Intel. Employees far less deserving then the ones layed-off are being been promoted to principal engrs and directors.

Also if they really want to rehire 2016 ISPs rather than making unfair no-rehire policies Intel can consider making policies so that if rehired ....rehires can’t pursue further legal action regarding the 2016 ISP.
has any one tried re-applying to Intel after being ISP’ed in 2016 and got any response other than the automated rejection.
This non rehire policy is insane and not sure if its even legal. The point is this clearly is embarrassing and awkward. May be this should be brought into attention to Pat the new CEO to put an end to such an unfair policy.
It would really be hard to re-hire them. After what they went through, there's too much risk to the company. That's what you get when you treat people like disposable garbage. And they wonder why morale is so low.
any talented with self respect will not come back to the brown Titanic especially when they are paid more and work with better people elsewhere
Anyone from 2015/2016 if they are still employed in the same technical area and making more money at a competitor, should be given incentive to come back. I mean of course avoid dead wood, but also acknowledge that the technical talent that was forced out erroneously needs to be lured back somehow....just like Pat
The main consequence of 2016 ISP was corrupt directors and VP's were able to consolidate their petty empires by getting rid of anyone they considered disloyal., that are usually the best engineers who made them look silly in anything other than the political arena.
This is true. Intel has so many problems that it is nearly impossible to even consider them let alone solve them. Terrible decisions heaped upon other terrible decisions with oversight by completely incompetent management.
