SCX is closing in Oct. Of course it's just what I have been hearing on Peachtree Street.
I think the management is going to take over and there's going to be a lockout
They moved the EMD power assembly lifters out other say at SCX, not sure where they sent them too.
I heard it’s between SCX and JLS
Supervisors at most points are about to take on more clerk duties. Also NS is supervisor heavy.
“they have just about ran out of ideas to get the OR below .60”....lol c’mon 2020 was but a preview..... 2021 is going to be a magic show where they’ll amaze us with all the tricks they still have up their sleeve. they take particular pride in the employee disappearing act....
SCX and Bellevue I hear.
Chat and Eno to be closed.
GET OUT NOW😳
Well they have just about ran out of ideas to get the OR below .60 so it would not be surprising to see repair shops sold, yards sold off and more layoffs. Norfolk Southern only mission is to pull main line loads. They are not in the repair business or program work because thar costs money. They along with all other Class 1s have gotten the AAR to change rules regarding off air time and unit trains so they don't have to inspect them. That alone should tell you where this is going
