Troll - Concho employees are receiving the same package as COP.
And your post has COP specific language in it which shows you are not even a Concho person.
Everyone below VP are not on any special severance. They will be receiving the CoP severance which is better than a stick in the eye but one of the worse In the industry for the working folks. Especially if you only have couple years with the company. Pretty lousy deal unless you are VP and above.
If you think Concho management is looking out for you then you are naive. They will be drinking the ConocoPhillips koolaid just like the rest of them and going to the Board 6 months from now asking for that executive raise because they managed to increase earnings per share by getting rid of the very folks that got them there in the first place.
Jf8G doubtful the Concho folks are redundant and if they are, they have all types of safeguards in place that their management negotiated for them in their favor. COP has always taken it up the keister when it comes to negotiations and how much they give to the acquisition companies employees. I doubt COP will want to rush in and mess with Concho’s operations right away as they have never been very good operators in the Permian and their arrogant attitude is never appropriated in the Permian which usually leads to the best people from the acquired company leaving the day after they receive their retention bonuses. And if you think I’m not correct about the arrogance, look at the post I replied to and judge for yourself.
