Anyone know why we can be “coached “ with no prior knowledge??? Thought we were supposed to be talked to before?? Blindsided??

Don't worry about it! Find a better employer that will reward your hard work! Not manage people with fear of loosing a job.
depends on the coaching, if it was covered by CBL or orientation or training. If it's something that's common sense, like swearing at a member, they could also take action.
You can always go to Club Manager if you disagree with the coaching if you want to try and overturn it
