He DID NOT say there would not be any layoffs. He said there would not be any "big realignments", and he did it on purpose.

I don't think the issue was that RR was leaving, it was that RR didn't tell anyone until the end and was still privy to sensitive info.

In that level position you're obligated to disclose that information to avoid conflicts of interest. I'm sure PG disclosed info on this move to the appropriate channels long before it hit the news and did everything by the numbers.

He had already signed on at Intel before he feigned that righteous indignation at Rajiv leaving.

The company is circling the drain, and Pat holds a lot of responsibility for it.

Pat said there would not be any layoffs before September (2020), which has obviously passed. There were no commitments beyond that AFAIK.

I was laid off in August 2020.
