Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Managers

I've got 6 different managers in various roles doing the similar job when you only need 1 or 2 tops, how many overheads does it take which dont deliver.

After his client meetings I thought Mike S was reducing management layers between the customers and people delivering service as it just causes bad service and delays

How can we afford such non productive overheads but cannot afford pay rises or shares options for lower staff.

How many managers do you have?

b+18NCiRCp - with the proposed take over from Atos - would be good time for Atos to remove multiple and ineffectual layers & management from DXC and then bring over the best technical staff it can get their hands on.

Unfortunately this may not happen and we are left with same levels of management but future WFR programmes to get rid of decent people from the company instead

if we are taken over by Atos (with Sal retiring ) I hope they chop out all these layers of management.

We need all the layers to decide on the new company color.

They just hold meetings and come with stupid ideas totally against the bureaucracy busters.

Seems like one part of the company is trying to do one thing and the other doing totally opposite.

5 layers from top to bottom is enough you need a lean, agile, and efficient organisation.
