Any news on floor team leader raises?.We do a lot and get paid less than fresh leaders who has more leaders and cover less area.

Do a lot? That’s funny. I can’t get mine out of the backroom nor able to get pallets straight.
Yeah it's bs. They approve both me and the other leads days off so am team sits outside til they show up which is generally 35 min to an hour late to let them in. They would rather sit in the office and make tik tok videos while there. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever. Literally resetting isles mid day because they didn't fwd the information to the leads that they got 3 days ago. We dish out the audits. We set the events. We plan the resets. We wpiq/co things. When they mess up the schedule or short us for Instant savings sign change day, we go look for volunteers to change their schedule. For what....18 bucks an hour. Merchandising managers make like 57k.
There should be at least, a five percent gap. What this company should do is create salary steps for the different job codes.
Health screenings? Not at or club.
Fork lift certified associates are getting the shaft too. Got bumped up last year for extra responsibilities and now everyone on floor is equal pay to them. No incentive for people to want to drive lifts now. Might as well send them to fresh or freezer cooler where there is an outbreak of allergies to forklift driving.
Agree. The gap between what our base pay and the associates under us is rather small. No other leads are key carriers that the entire opening of the building depends on if we show up or not. Who does all the AM health screenings interrupted every 10 minutes at the door? We do.
Not to mention the sheer volume and amount of area that we are to cover.
