Noticing slew of promotion announcements last 48 hours. Disheartening. half my team was let go and here is someone getting a promo out of it and a pay raise.

There have been tons of job openings as part of transformative growth. Perhaps different than the “norm” but it’s giving people promotions and other opportunities. Why hate on other people for finding success in these chaotic times? I wonder if this attitude is why you haven’t climbed the corporate ladder yourself? I understand you may be a bit jaded because of the recent layoffs, but learn how to be happy for other people. It’s a good quality.
