LOL at the one poster that said referral volume is down. It's never been higher...Unless they are in Casualty I guess. Not so much in Auto/Prop. The motto is churn and burn. Frankly ... I don't give a damn any more. Neither does the company so why would I? The staffing model if one exists is way understaffed in probably every department. Hard to figure out what they are doing because the customer service numbers are going to stink... They were already headed that way before the layoffs. Maybe they are trying to clean the balance sheets for someone to buy ALL? Had heard on The Street that the idea has been floating around for banks to start buying Insurance companies. Remember Transfam Growth said they were going to cut 2 Billion in expenses/costs. Can't remember the breakdown for 2020 and what they expect to do in 2021. Crazy times, co-workers breaking down and crying due to the stress leading up to layoffs and after. Can hear it other's voices as well.

They newer managers assigned within the last 15-20 years have totally destroyed the proper investigative protocol of SIU. Most came from other areas, never investigated a fraud case, which really shows in management style. The moment Bryan Hanson retired is when the operation went south.
Now you have many managers that cannot give a proper definition of material misrepresentation, nor have the fortitude to defend it in any capacity. These so called Managers are experts at giving an endless checklist of BS things to do just to do them, without any common sense. Complete the checklist, and then pay the claim. CSL's wringing their hands at defending many claims that should have been easily denied for Material Misreps of Material Facts.
I cannot stress enough how there are very few CSL's in SIU that should be in that role. This company needs a reassessment of all current CSL's and cleanout in order. People that have actually investigated fraud need to be considered for management. However, given this current environment, who would be stupid enough to take on this position. Allstate has a feminized and weakened the property and auto SIU department. Hopefully, Transformative Growth will take care of this issue.

Yup, I don’t have time to think so rush rush rush it is, I was below the production goal 1DAY out of the last 10 months and my manager asked what was going on. No time for fraud investigations or rational thought, just pay sh– and on to the next!

It’s great! Apparently all the adjusters are so busy they’re just paying everything with no questions asked so our referral volume has plummeted.
