After months of searching I finally landed a better job and gave my 2 weeks’ notice. My manager was taken aback because I never gave any indication of being unhappy. He actually tried to convince me to remain, but I was adamant on leaving. Then he asked me why I was leaving. I simply told him my skill would be better appreciated elsewhere. He had nothing to say to that.
