I asked my club manager if they would be making any cuts. She says she doesn’t know for sure but that this is the CEO’s first full year in role and that if anyone being cut it is probably fresh. Would they cut a manager even tho every club is running crazy sales cause of covid

The TL over prepared foods is who should be eliminated. Wasted payroll
Frankly it is pretty common knowledge all managers are worthless at this point none of them are working there schedule the company pays for 50 hours they are not even working 40 they hide in the office because they can. They need to go to 1 fresh 1 merch no front end and the GM.
Get rid of the front end manager, they are useless. Team leads do their jobs anyway. Team leads at our store do cash office, interviews and hiring, keep stats up, and run the front end. If they ask the manager a question, the response is always, "that's what you get paid the big bucks for. Make a decision." Frankly, I don't see anything the front end manager does except stand, stare, or criticize. Ours demands that the leads coach someone for something petty, and then won't sit in on the coaching. Said it's not her job.
How do I know? Team leads talk about it all the time.
Cut that fresh manager and max out the fresh leads!
Can see it. We have one who is invisible 90% of the day. The other is in all departments 90% and available on a moments notice.
Good. One spends most of the day hiding out in his jeep. The other literally has no clue how to do anything but eat in the back office, yet she never takes lunch and leaves early every shift. Hmm... Waste of payroll to say the least.
