There never was a software powerhouse and most likely there never will be. CLEC is dead at this point. The ratio of disconnects to turn ups are astronomical. All of the dreams that you where promised never happened and probably never will. The company didn't come out stronger than what they promised you. The sold out to a private firm that knows nothing about Telecom. Get ready and buckle up for the ride folks.

SW powerhouse! After the PING ID/Anyconnect breakage. unimpressed. Not enough IT folks left to get everyone re-connected. Not that any cared....
Be prepared for some major outages with contractors in the drivers seat and not field techs. We all know our records and CO wiring don't tell the whole story.
Looks like the writing is on the wall, or the badge! I have a good friend that works for Ledcor and he just got badged up for windstain CO access.
I've sold Officesuite to North Haverbrook, Ogdenville and Brockway.
They set vendors up with key card access to the CO’s. Vendor walked in and installed a SFP. He laughed at how Windstream paid him $5k to do that and walked out.
10 days ago I was told the SDWAN with Fortigate orders are going to vendors...the end seems to be coming....time to find a new job I think
I do know that I called into the turn up group and was told they are starting to use vendors over techs because the bean counters say it is cheaper. To back that up, 2 of my installs over the last couple weeks went to vendors while I had no tickets. Think what you want, windstream is gearing up for another RIF...
When exactly was this “announced” and by whom? What departments were notified of this? That sounds like nothing more than absurd gossip.
and now they announced to some depts that the field techs will be let go as soon as they get a set of vendors lined up to do all the installs..not that there are many of them anyway.
Cant agree more...windstream will never be who the claim to be
