We’re working long hours (10-12) everyday plus working some on our days off just trying to keep up with assigned inspections and those working Virtual Assist are too. There’s over a thousand pending inspections. Shops and customers are so frustrated .

Someone else chose who stayed and who was let go. Those left are not at fault for still being with the company.
To be fair, what do you guys that were laid off have to talk about anymore on here? We are absolutely able to get on this forum to vent our frustration. Especially when the frustration stems directly from so many people getting laid off and due to that, our business condition is horrendous.
I’ve been hearing that since I started at this job 7 years ago. Every aspect of this job has gotten worse consistently. I’ve accepted it at this point that nothing is going to improve but I still work here because I have bills to pay.
Once the company begins to realize the value of taking care of customers it will all simmer down. The decision makers here are beyond out of touch with the relationships that our claim handlers build with our customers. Or used to when they had the time and training. Things will get worse before they get better but keep your head up!
No need to be bitter that you were let go. I lost who I thought was a good friend due to her jealousy because she was let go and I wasn't. This forum is for all employees who are facing possibilities of being let go. So it's time you grow up and be an adult. All you are proving is that the right person or persons was let go.
It’s good to see how things are now that we’ve been laid off so keep us updated with current conditions after the layoffs. Don’t pay any attention to the others on here. I have friends who remained and that doesn’t make them lesser people for staying . Good luck to us all in the new year finding work .
It does seem disrespectful to those affected to post about a job you still have on a site where RIF people often visit. I think you all still with allstate need your own separate forums IMHO.
I tend to agree with the below posters. You people still working at Allstate need to create your own website. Possibly title it "B!tching About My Job at Allstate". We get that you have legit gripes and issues with that sh!thole but most of the good people that got unfairly and unjustly tossed out during a pandemic and poor job market don't want to hear about it. Go create your own forums where you can all cry and whine to each other. Leave these forums to layoffs and not the resulting job conditions.
The title of this site is “Topics regarding layoffs at Allstate Corp.“ Ridiculous hours, backlog of inspections, and customer frustrations due to limited staff following mass layoffs is a topic regarding layoffs at Allstate.
Geez, I understand that it s—s to be laid off. But some of you people are f—ing babies and think you’re the only ones allowed to talk here. Update your resume and move on already.
Laid off in August and unable to find another job yet. The only jobs I’ve seen open in the past 4 1/2 months have been for the State and only 2 positions at that, but they take care of their own before giving outsiders a chance. I’m still healing from the abuse I sustained at that nightmare c-aphole and I’m not sure if my ptsd will ever go away so I can get another job in the private sector again. These a holes really did a number on us.
I disagree with the negative posters on here. I want to hear about the repercussions of these d bag executives decisions. I got let go from claims in August and have been so curious on the status of the workload for the ones left. I heard about the announcements of assessments in June but the proper I’ve been able to talk to just play it down. So please keep the complaining coming. I want to hear about what’s going on there after these guys screwed over the Allstate workers.
Coming to a site complaining about a job you still have to those who lost their jobs. Really??? GTFO.
This site is clearly made for anyone who wants to complain..and I agree with OP, workload is horrendous. Allstate really screwed themselves. Customers are beyond frustrated.. worse than a year ago.
2021 welcome to the Good Hands sweatshop
Allstate screwed themselves. Now they have so much volume they don’t know what to do with it.
Guess they shouldn’t have made hasty cuts. Bad business decision.
The nerve. Trade ya my severance for your job you seem to hate so much. SMDH.
You dare come to a site and complain and whine about the job you have where people who were involuntarily thrown out on the streets come to discuss? Poor baby has to actually work for their money? Such a shame you can no longer play on your phone for half the time you are supposed to be working. We don't pay you to lollygag. Time to grow up and earn a living Bub.
How's it feel now to be "safe" claims folks? Was all that gloating worth it. You were just the lessers that were leftover to do more work for the same pay. You were devalued as humans and workers by a company that hates you while we were given money to go and get better positions elsewhere. And many of us have. They see you as the same level as the overseas labor in India and you will eventually be replaced by them and likely next time without severance.
Welcome to Transformative Growth!
Did you get any of my leftover claims work? I was one of the top producers in my area before Transformative Growth decided long tenured good top performers were no longer qualified. You will have to forgive me for not exactly giving a sh^^ my final 60 days. I sort of stopped working those last two months.
