If you were an hourly employee for Allstate and ever had any kind of tech diff where the system logged you out for more than 15 minutes, Allstate charged you PTO for the time you spent trying to log back on.
This is wage theft, and you should file a labor board complaint.

This is like working for what used to be called a "sweatshop" employees stripped of human dignity and respect. Employer abuse during the covid era is out of control across many corporate entities. We need a massive filing of complaints to local and state agencies for these discrepancies which may lead to federal investigation. The only way to stop the corporate takeover is thru the legal system or labor organization.
You have to have evidence that it was a tech issue, the exact dates and times you were cheated out of pay and charged PTO for this verified tech issue, and evidence that you reported the issue to your immediate manager AND timekeeping.
You are exactly right. And we're a step ahead of you. Yes, we have already reported this same exact issue to the Ohio Labor Board previously and without documentation of all the above they would not even entertain any of it.
