Something seems odd about the unusually large amount of upvote/downvote activity on these list posts.

"green sprinklers"

I prefer red sprinklers on my cake. If I do not have sprinklers to put into.my cake, then I am not bothering to make the cake.

Just to be clear, my analogy wasn't about auto body work, it was about any ancillary Sears operation, such as auto centers, Kmart pharmacies etc.. All the silly sideshows are like the equivalent (to use a better example) of a baker worrying about not having green sprinklers for his cake, when he is freaking out of flour and sugar! Worry about getting flour and sugar first, then worry about silly side (non-essential) things like auto centers, pharmacies, etc..

Way, too many still. No need for 30 or more of these at this point. Keeping these ancillary operations going, is like worrying about detailing or painting a car while it has a massive engine failure and is leaking Coolant on the highway. If anything, figure how to keep the engine running. Painting the car is the least important concern at that point.

I know the Myrtle Beach store is closing but have no idea on the auto center. All of the other stores that were closing in this round (Concord, NC, Manchester, CT, Glen Burnie, MD, Grandville, MI, White Plains, NY, Pasadena, TX) have had their auto centers closed already.

Yes, Valley Stream is still open. I don’t know why I forgot to include it.

The San Juan Auto Center is not stand-alone. It is part of the same shopping complex as the Hato Rey Sears store. Hato Rey is a section of San Juan.

Love the format! Thanks for this list! What puzzles me is why they still have 30+ of this goofy concepts left. I had thought there were just like 4 or 5 random non-closing stragglers left of this format. Didn't realize we had this many left. There are more of these car repair centers than total Kmarts!
Anyway, totally like the format, including the X's. I totally dig it buddy! Happy New Year, man!

  1. S.: Awesome job with the stats at the bottom. A little something I added to my repertoire back in 2019, glad to see it getting mileage. :)

State of Connecticut is missing with its "X". I would rather the states with an "X" not be shown in the list at all, to help condense the list. This site does not have an edit function for posts, sorry.
