Intel has Doubled its 14nm and 10nm Capacity since 2017 but Revenue only Grew by 13.5% Yet the bean counter says it was a amazing, what kind of math does he use for real engineer problems ?

Two factors that are holding Intel hostage:
1) Die size increase to compete with AMD

  • Kaby Lake: 126
  • Coffee Lake: 152
  • Coffee Lake Refresh: 178

2) Poor yields of 10nm

The fact that Intel is still capacity constrained is hurting Intel more than AMD or Apple!

Did you see he is the second highest paid US CEO making 66M annually. Its something around 700 times more than the average employee.
