Has anyone been voluntold to resign? Is it legal?

If management offered me the layoff package, I would take it. I dare not ask for it though. If they wanted you to volunteer, they would have set up a realistic program for that to happen.
What do you think Pay-in-lieu is with the PIP program? Resign and get money or get fired.
But if you resign you will not be eligible for unemployment
