Will there be any package if someone gets laidoff due to he was put in Performance Improvement Plan.

In my experience you need to be seriously bad to be put on a PIP.
Yea, the bar at Oracle isn't exactly set very high. Complete a project on time and on budget and you are a rock star and everyone wants you on their project.
In my experience you need to be seriously bad to be put on a PIP. And people I have known that were had plenty of opportunity to leave before it happened.
It’s called the l.o.s.e.r package.
Yup, PIP termination is not a layoff. No cigar.
That call fired, not layoff, completely different, Google it.
Sorry to say this but no package is offered for folks on PIP.
