I plan on waiting around until more people leave, then I'll probably receive a promotion simply to entice me to stay.

Aero is trying to play money all. They believe the best people can be had for a bargain if you just know the right metric. This strategy depends on youth and front line managers ability to lower the self worth of star performers.
I predict that all employees will hear the sob story. Then key people will be told how important they personally are and large raises will be forth coming.
Who? Anyone with a security clearance, any FPGA developer, key directors with customer contacts. These people will see salary adjustments exceeding 10 percent to fight attrition. It won’t be enough as competition is offering 30%.

Business jet use is about 80% recovered worldwide. Regional and commercial is still way down.
GE press release said to expect significant layoffs in 2021. Honeywell Aero will terminate many. Leave or be happy with the crumbs.

Would be nice if they just reinstated the pulled back raises from 2019. Consumer price index is up about 2.2% since q1 2019. feels like that is very low especially with housing up more than 5% this year alone.
