I've started warning people who show even the slightest interest in joining Pearson to stay as far away as they can. This is the place to join only if you want to see your career die. Once it might have been a good place to advance or even work, but those days are long gone. The first chance I get, I'm out.

Are you kidding?! I’d suggest a friend for a lobotomy before a job at Pearson.
The referral bonus should be $10,000 and a new friend since the one you referred will hate you in 6 months.
