Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Fire IRMS, and other stupid ‘technology’ effort promoters

These sly managers are selling bad software internally in the company to save each other’s back. The only work irms developers do is replicate whats already available in the market already and keep fixing their own mistakes over and over. I can say the same for some other ‘technology’ efforts being pushed in RTD and other UIS functions.

Somebody please man up and honestly admit your incapabilities, maybe you can do something more productive. How can you live in peace knowing all of this and still selling the same BS everyday? Does anyone at EM > 10 years have any soul left? ROBOTS. Yes Robots, ‘make master happy’ Robots. ‘Lie for a living’ robots. ‘Integrity is only for say not do’ Robots.

Again phDs are awesome, the phDs we hire and retin for 10 years are not. The smarter ones leave. The scum remains.

The company will change direction toward renewable energy at some point. Guess who can switch working on the new technology overnight? RTD people! Just look where other companies are and that's all because of the digital transformation. Company knows that and yall haters will be...

RTD employees in any upstrwam work are absolutely useless and a drain on conpany money. They can be found promoting bad products they build by copying stuff. The next time you see them, remember that they are not needed but still exist in the company. On top of that, they act smart when in reality they are worthless in terms of the value they bring.

RTD/ URC needs to be dissolved and shut completely. The longer they exist, the more parasites they will send to other parts of the business and continue damaging the company.

Our company is not setup to do meaningful research, just sell stupid things to ourselves in the name of collaboration.

Until all employees who were hired by former URC from year 2002 onwards are hunted, found and fired from UIS, EMRE etc. (wherever they are hiding), EM continues to be reflection of a company that tolerates and promotes bad behavior,

Fire iRMS related people and anyone working on fake reservoir, integrity and digital projects.

@1xtl What is your problem with PhD’s? The last great CEO we had, Lee Raymond, had a PhD in ChemE. Rex and DWW just have BS degrees. Guess which people are responsible for gutting the company?

Fire everyone. Check out CSR guys at RTD. Just fire them. Fore entire CSR. Fire former URC folks who moved to other parts of UIS and EM. Fire fire fire!

I mean fire anyone and everyone who is faking a living in the name of Research. None of the PhDs at ExxonMobil are worth a dime. Many are from sh–ty schools - KSU, LSU, OSU, UIUC.... list goes on. Those who supposedly are from decent schools are the chosen ones without talent and have a made a career out of doing nothing.

I know managers who have threatened their employees to promote EM internal ‘tools’ and ‘software’, developed bu sh–ty URC fools. Externally available tools are ao much cheaper and better! I really hoped I can tell someone about it, report the unethical practice. But soon I discovered this company only works on keeping your bosses happy, even if what they say makes no sense. And the biggest lie is action os not taken against those you speak up. NEVER SPEAK UP IN EXXONMOBIL IT WON’T BRING ANY CHANGE.

All managers are picked and trained to lie all day and are basically humans with zero conscience.

I agree that iRMS is a failure. Its a shame that some managers promote it as ‘competitive’ advantage. For folks who ever come across a poece of sh– prooting iRMS, its a clear indicator that the person is an id–t whi has no knowledge of simulation or a sly snake who intentially rota the company with BS. The biggest issue is the mangers collude and make eachother look good. Talk to the users and the employees, People literally are on the verge of breaking down because of such an ill developed software.

Shame on you RTD and Digital leadership, may you read this and hang your head in shame and be not be able to sleep for a night thinking about the piece of sh– of you have become.

And this is one example, there certain teams and certain sly individuals who sell dashboards like its outer space technology. And worst they blame others when questioned.

Only America can produce such personalities with no general conscience and selfish interests.

I am an iRMS developer. In my opinion, the project is a major failure and should be cancelled. A bit late though - hundreds of millions of dollars already spent.

I thought we stopped iRMS development. The best thing we ever did was to discontinue waste of money. Eclipse is like million times better in any and every way but our URC folks will prove otherwise, and none of them worked in Eclipse more than a month, to be generous.... But they need to keep their jobs and kiss VPs..

I’d say everyone in the “Digital Transformation”, from the VP down, especially those in management, should be terminated. It wouldn’t affect the bottom line, except the misleading advertising claims that this company is forward looking and embraces technology.
What a joke!
