No-one will be relocated to Midland. Those resources in Houston will be laid off from my source.
Any idea if ConocoPhillips will move all their Permian staff to Midland,TX next year?

Wait...there’s gonna be layoffs?
There will be significant layoffs effective ~ April 2021. The cuts in exploration will be massive. Regarding SGL 19+, if they want to be severed they will be rewarded. If they want to stay they will be rewarded! Look for significant changes in “leadership” as many “retire” with 3-year enhanced severance packages (AKA Golden Parachutes). After May 2021, look for our clueless PowerPoint “leaders” to continue becoming wealthy at the shareholders’ expense.
