How likely is that there will be Allstate Layoffs 2021? Any news or rumors?

Course there will be layoffs. Don’t keep your head in the sand.
Let’s just get this sales finalized so the Encompass folks know their fate.
People really do not know what they are talking about. Nat Gen is to close around the first week of January. Encompass will still be servicing their policies for some time. It will take a min of one year to switch everything to one system.
There will be some additional layoffs starting in January but on a smaller scale. Next large scale layoffs set for around 2nd quarter 2021 when NatGen purchase is finalized.
There are layoffs all the time. This TG happened to be a big one and company wide. The last one nearly this big was about 10 years ago. But smaller ones happen. All. The. Time.
