Beyond a shadow of a doubt, right before annual reviews too. Happens most every year and COVID ate into the earnings they had set out to attain.
The layoffs in health plans are consistent in timing. just look at the other health plans to see the pattern. And you can also ready about 2021. Objective is to reduce payroll. Other health plans are doing the same. The more you reduce, the higher the stock price.
