Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Cold Blooded Terminations / Lack of Empathy

11 plus months into the year Crown Castle: Terminates us without warning, capped PTO payout at 120 hours (even if they were scheduled), no award of Reserve Stock Units, No 401K bonus, all done with cold blooded efficiency one week before Thanksgiving and this is No Fault of Our Own!!! Need to get rid of the bloated number of Execs and keep those of us who were actually doing the work! What a sorry statement. Yeah, B3 values my butt.

Watch your back those who are left!

  • the person in the original post is complaining about the caps of PTO..I was simply explaining why they are. I also am aware of what and how RSUs work. That’s why their letters were all extended, to change the part about losing the RSUs. Calm down, I was personally effected and we all got different letters, not spreading any wrong info. Just info.

They aren't spreading misinformation, yes - CA, IL, LA, MA, MT, NE, and ND have exceptions to the PTO that's seven of fifty states, not including random local laws does not equal misinformation.

RSU weren't given and not only that but they vest over three years, so if they were they'd wouldn't vest as the paperwork specifically states they must be employed for them to best, so they lose some that have already been awarded as well. That's the nature of RSU.

You're the one spreading misinformation.

  • capped PTO payouts are regulated by state laws not company ones. If you live in states like California, there is no cap...so those termed will get more than 120 if they have it. Vested and Unvested (which is above standard) RSUs were also given along with annual incentive payment and a severance payment......not defending the mass surprise of terminations....as someone personally effected, just make sure you know your facts before posting miss information just to stir a pot.

Vp's with no direct reports. Vp's reporting to Vp's. Directors with no direct reports. Directors reporting to Directors. Mangers reporting to managers. This alone is a case study of how not to run a business. Millions wasted in system enhancements that were nothing of the sort. Redundant positions, processes and technology. Still bloated and inefficient .

No one is having calls and trans people, no one cares if you want to wear a dress.

If you even work here then tell us what group is being head hunted.

Not the company i thought it was. Mgr. won t loss my positiom, they'll put their cousin in it. Disgraceful business practices. B3s are a joke. Everyone is related.
