Allstate holds severance hostage until laid off workers waive rights to tell the truth

Alllstate is too afraid to allow former workers their due process. They make them sign away all their rights to sue for age discrimination and many other , by withholding severance. Allstate knows most people need their severance to survive, especially during this pandemic. Shame on you Allstateunjust termination reasons.

I have a question for the outside as a former employee...laid off last year. I hear that some people received a 90 day notice but were told to work 60 days, entitling them to receive the last two paychecks in December. Last year, we were told 60 days and that was it and I received my severance shortly after my last day. Did we get manipulated out of those two paychecks or is this year a whole new agreement?

The legal loopholes in the signed arbitration agreement is akin to Swiss cheese. It was a condition of employment and was signed under a threat of duress. Once severance is paid out and your layoff is final with that pay out the agreement of both the early 2020 arbitration form and the baseless agreement in the severance package mean nothing. Already had a lawyer look into it all. Undecided on the course of action I plan on taking if any. Personally leaning towards just moving on myself but those with legitimate legal gripes should not be deterred especially if many of you band together.

You waived your right to sue last year when you either signed the arbitration agreement or co tinted working and signed by default.
